Goat Boy has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I think we're talking an extra 70m here folks, not 7m - 2.91km (2910m), minus 2.84km (2840m) = 70m or 0.07km

BackSeat Driver should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I wonder if they measure inside all the pot-holes & bumps as well? Surely if you fill all of those in you will save some distance too

Interesting chicane. Wouldn't mind a Caltex Chase style of chicane rather than two 90 degree corners.

Wonder if the chicane will be named after the late Jason Richards.

I find it interesting they have kept the area after the pit entry the same I was always told the barrier angle would have to be changed here if any safety review happened as it was a straight on hit for any car.

hopefully the run off area after new Turn 5 won't have any kerbing so the track can still be used in original configuration.
