Sorry Chris....I've seen your driving, and had always thought you DID drive a shopping cart.....

JEB has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Due to the postal strike, those wishing to return, or receive, entry forms for the WHT, can contact me on email at:info@walterhayestrophy.co.uk

There are no firm plans for television coverage this season.
It can be very expensive to film and place on television. The last two years provided great action and was enjoyed by all (or most !) who saw it.
I am not ruling out television, but unless it can be funded externally I feel it is unlikely for 2007.

Excuse my ignorance, but can someone point me to a link that explains the event format (e.g. who gets to race in each heat etc).

I.e. On Saturday you do the heats, but how do the Sunday Storm, Progression Race and Last Chance race fields get decided?

After 4.5yrs of not having raced the RF88 it's a little bit optimistic to assume Semi Final and Grand Final opportunities await, so I'll set my sights a little more reasonably......

The exact format won't be determined until nearer the date and the number of entries is known.

But from the six heats the top x will go straight through to the semis; the next y into the last of the repechage races, the following z into the one before that and the remaining w into the first of them. There is progression from one repechage race to the other for the leading finishers, but obviously it is dependent on the number of entrants.

Does anyone know what is going on on the Saturday? I am thinking of making a mad dash from Brands to Silverstone.

Does anyone know if there is a special ferry deal done with Irish Ferries or Stenaline for Irish drivers travelling over to the WHT?

If anybody would like to drive at the WHT. Absolute have the Gulf Oil RF90 for rent due to the intended driver not being able to raise the budget. You all see the car every day when you turn on Ten Tenths now is your chance to drive it!!

Well, expected top entries again are:

Gavin Wills, Morgan Peter and Keith Dempsey, Paddy McKenna, Wayne Boyd, Joey Foster?, Matt Rivett, Stu Gough, James 'Trick' Cole, Gary Jones, Mike Verges, Pete and Rob Barrable, David Grady, Ed Moore, Nev Smyth, Graham Carroll and Peter Daly. 20 (21 hey kd ) possible winners.

My bets on Peter Dempsey and Boyd again being nose to tail in the final, don't know who will win it. Probabily in Peter's favour at the mo, he's had much more track time at Silverstone.

From what I have heard of Boyd it will take him about 5 laps if that to be fast round Silverstone. there is only 2 corners you need to think about really!

don't leave Nev out of that prediction either! he was nose to tail with Peter last year!
