Veggie [VASC16R28R29R30R31] ITM Auckland SuperSprint, Pukekohe: 4-6Nov
Business end of the season, 2 rounds to go.

Off to New Zealand this round, cars to be in Melbourne or Brisbane by early Friday morning

Some teams with damage to repair, some with some soul searching to do, some with both!

Who will be competitive here?

Will 888 dominate everything... or will GRM & PRA find a way to convert some of their strengths into on-track results?

Is it just me or is it a crazy proposition to have a fly/shipaway round so close after a car breaking track like Surfers?

NZ was run as the next round after the GC for quite a few years - the windows of available time in NZ are limited and late Oct / early Nov seems to work better all round.

With NZ being a flyaway round it's a bit better than it used to be - using ships in the early days the teams were at the docks loading onto the ship one or two days after the GC race on quite a few occasions.

Spot on.

I think they only lose a day or two at the most, through the customs and flying process.

I suspect a few times will be carrying a load of hand luggage in the form of parts to finish a few cars off.

Reynolds fastest in P1 (although drying track lottery) have seen some good stuff from him recently.

Maybe Erebus would be a good place for an ex HRT driver in an ex HRT car
