I would say that they would take the money from whoever was offering it. In motorsport, it takes a very brave man to turn away sponsorship, even from someone you don't like.
And if JS say they are receiving backing from Italy, they must be. After all they haven't Bulls**ted about anything else have they? DOH!! |

Not if the AROC competitors have any say in it. They are talking about boycoting the series if the JS sponsorship goes ahead, I should know because I compete in it.

I wouldn't worry about them, if the BTC-T cars are as slow as the BTC-P car appeared at Silverstone yesterday.
Makes a great noise, but to the innocent bystander (well not that innocent and on the track with it so not really a bystander...) it looked like the Focuses were catching it hand over fist on the straight and they are slower than the Pugs in a straight line... For the record, Tim Harvey was at the wheel I think. RickP |

Whats with all this JSM bashing??
I welcome any team wanting to enter the BTCC , and they must be doing something right in order to sign Tim Harvey as team manager... Maybe we should just see how they perform when the season starts rather than judging them on testing pace , who knows what tactics they are up to... P.S One point , why did JS build the production cars if they are not going to race them , a slight waste of money isn't it? |

JSM do seem to have made a few strange decisions, to say the least! From 4 BTCT cars and 2 BTCP cars we now only have 2 BTCT cars overall-what has happened to Enzo Mucci, Ted Reddick and Danny Wright? They must be pretty gutted!

The production car is now going to be used by Darren Malkin to give him some saloon/FWD experience. Tim Harvey was just setting the car up for him. Anyone know what the red Peugeot that was at Silverstone yesterady will be used for?

How can GA "whoop" JS's ass if they are in different classes?
PS and why did GA choose to enter in the BTC-P instead of the BTC-T |

Probably because they don't have a touring car.

GA chose to enter BTC-P because they would like to stay in their depth unlike some other "teams". |

Thanks for that Mickey.
Spoke to Dave tonight - car still not about, might be drivable at S/Stone. He is 'concerned' about the left hand drive. It told him - it will come back - just needs the practice. Oh please let's hope it does... |
