Great weekend thanks to all who made it a great weekend. My only gripe and it’s the same with Masters, but I wish the entry lists included what engine the cars are running. Thankfully MawP filled a few holes in his description of cars during his commentary.

Bit late but it was great to be back trackside on Saturday!! A great meeting for the first one back, with a great range of cars in all the races, and sum great driving to watch.
Stand up Michael Lyons, from being involved in an incident that was no ones fault in qualifying that put his T400 out for the weekend, to jumping in Judy's car for the race, starting last to then win the race by 16 seconds and set a fastest lap almost 3 seconds quicker than anyone else! That's why i love being at the tracks!! It did feel very strange not being able to take a walk into the pits n paddock but if that's the price to pay to be allowed in then its fine by me. Anyway here's my vid from Saturdays action if any one interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG_w2A1iPeM |

Many people overlook such details, like you I think he did a stalwart job as you say covering the whole event on his own and I now learn from MAWP himself that the aircon in the commentary booth was broken and he performed his duties in stifling temperatures of 26-30C, top job Marcus.

When I first got involved, spannering for an LC, It wwas left hand drive, and we did discuss the possible minor disadvantage vs RHD given most circuits run clockwise.
I think we all agreed there were 1001 other variables that made more difference, with the nut behind the wheel top of the list |
