Have BJR got a cannister of Nitrous under the bonnet? They certainly have been the quiet achievers of the off break! Fantastic to be running so high so early with new cars.

The Norton car surprised me. Looks much better in the flesh than wishy washy yellow in the launch photos. Bottle-o looks great too. FPR sorry but the most hideous looking race car I've ever seen.

Total agreement, the HRT & Red Bull cars look amazing on the track but FPR is a freaking disaster, how will anybody tell one car from the other?

I know I've stated I like the FPR cars, so perhaps a bit biased. But it has got EVERYONE's attention.
And, any attention is good attention. Pepsi have some of our tounges wagging. I am wondering still about BJR. They have always been there or there abouts, and one would say in the AU/BA and even the Walkinshaw days, if they had enough cash flow to go that step further in development, they could have cracked it for more than the two wins they have (three if you include the Albert Park win...). I hope they haven't shown their hand too early. But I also sincerely hope they have genuine pace. Once Brighty hit the 29's and then the 28's, others went with him but couldn't match him. Fabs' lap was nearly there too. Has GTR been giving them consultancy again?? :P |

17600 there for the day.
How come that's about all they get to a race meeting there? I must admit the grid walk is enticing and its free ch ten news had it in the sports also noticed they discussed it on weekend sunrise this morning |

Man the cars look great and those times are pretty mean! BJR right up there, 888 cars too. Erebus look a little slow but so to FPR in a way.
Pretty bloody interesting for a test day!!! |

Sitting at the back of the support paddock pit (where it would be if there was one..) on the concrete retaining wall, it was rare for a car to be going full tilt down the hill... ... many a times back in the day, on race day, you might see Mr Ambrose with 6" of air under his front wheels... not today... |

Noticed Lee and Tim did only a few laps in the afternoon compared to others. Anyone got an idea why?

Will have to wait for a race weekend but I think I may have to eat my words. The Nissan's certainly looked competetive, will depend if they were flat out and other were sandbagging. But certainly looks like a good starting point. |

Interesting to see that FPR 'forgot' to include a Ford windscreen sign still... [/QUOTE] noticed that on its testing day also a few weeks ago. no ford sponsorship crossing over. Hope they can sell that piece of real estate. It really needs so more colour, maybe yellow |
