My reading of the website was that certain car clubs were invited. Unfortunately if you're not a member of one of those you're not invited. And I couldn't see the South Dorset Toyota Yaris Owners Club on the list....

Could you find a list of invited clubs? I drew a blank.

For the first time this season, Castle Combe will be admitting a small number of 'day visitors' to their Championship Finals meeting this weekend. Entry is either by Season Ticket (you must inform the circuit if you intend to attend the meeting) or by advance ticket which are very limited in number. Hopefully this may mean some 'Day Visitor' tickets may be available for the Autumn Classic.

Entry and spectating is only at Quarry for the Finals meeting but at least it's progress and offers hope for the Classic.
Groups of 6 will be enforced and no under 17s allowed.

HRDC grids are all full already. should be a good meeting.

last time I raced in October it was sunny and 20 degrees, fingers crossed for those who got an entry in.

There is now limited public admission to the Autumn Classic. As well as limited numbers, spectators will also be restricted to entering at the Quarry entrance and viewing from Quarry Bend.

Joe, I think that you are racing on Sunday, as are FISCAR, so I may inflict my socially distanced presence on you, just to say 'hello'.

Strange logic confining everyone at Quarry when they could be spread over 2 miles.

I agree, although they did the same thing last weekend for the championship finals and presumably are doing the same for this weekends bike meeting. Maybe they want to keep everyone in the same place to keep an eye on them. Also no under 17s are admitted at the moment.

Less toilets to clean and supervise, less security, easier to monitor behaviour?Less chance of people wandering into the paddock. There was plenty of room last weekend

You are absolutely right, I don't think Castle Combe has a huge number of staff. Given the news regarding other sports we should be grateful we can attend at all.

They will appear at castlecomberacingclub.co.uk, upcoming events and then downloads, but they are not there yet.

Last nights preview show on Combe TV had Marcus Pye reviewing the entry lists. High class and full grids all round with GTSCC and HRDC packed with good cars. Best ever overall entry for the event so far.

Pity about the weather though and vey sad Covid has spoilt the 70 years celebrations at my favourite circuit
