Fantastic bit of news: great to have OMSE back in the World Championship and brilliant to see Robin Larsson get a (very well deserved) seat.

Shame it's not with the Civic, but I guess Honda have no interest in pushing the car in the World Championship.

And it's a shame that they will not use the Fiesta MK8. But still great news . The only teams which didn't announce their plans yet are STARD (with Baumanis?) and DA Racing.

Suspect DA racing is no more as Duborg is now racing for G-FORS and Demoustier is at Loeb racing (presumably in old DA 208). Could always be that Andrea Dubourg and one other could use the other 208 and DS3...

I only just spotted the video, but EKS confirmed the use of the Audi S1 for 2018 with a video earlier today:

EKS RX Official Facebook Page - S1 Launch Video

Interesting configuration for the rear of the car. I wondered if Audi Sport might follow in the footsteps of VW Motorsport and relocate everything up front in the car, but the NACA ducts would suggest that the radiator is still in the rear.

The wing looks so weird and I wonder how good it is. The wing Audi supplied last year was only used one round I think. There has been a rule change as well so they are stuck with it no matter what. Interesting with the intakes on the roof and side windows.

DA Racing were advertising their 208 and DS3 for rent earlier today, either in French championship or Europe.

Anyone have any idea what's happening with Liam Doran and Steve Harris mini RX project, they bought the three JRM Racing minis, haven't heard anything since

I have seen a few comments with regards to the Mini on Facebook (from Liam), but nothing confirmed. One, or perhaps two, cars in the European Championship?

Some pretty interested pictures (if you are a Supercar nerd!) posted by Hal Ridge yesterday:

Hopefully more information will trickle out after day two today.

For some reason there are no times ...

PSRX apparently had big problems last year with overheating.

Was expecting to them to join euro RX but was kinda hoping they would join the world RX... As I live n Cape Town and we only get the RX2 with the supercars when they race here

Oh, really? That's interesting to read. The article on the Polo in Race Tech (last year) included a comment from a VW engineer which said something along the lines of "they would change to a rear mounted radiator if they had problems" (I will look for the exact quote later on, but that was the basic gist of it).

If they had problems last year then I assume they have made improvements if the 2018 car retains the same configuration.

Think cooling was sorted after the 3rd or so race, didn't seem to suffer at all in the 30 degree heat at Cape Town RX

STARD will reveal their plans second half of March.
It is safe to presume Janis Baumanis will be one of the drivers.

I expect DA racing in ERX

Thanks for the information. I´ve seen on Twitter that Ma Qing Hua is testing with STARD today. Nothing against him, but I hope that we won´t see him, but a real rallycross talent in the second car.

I don't know any details besides from that they had problems so this could very well be the case, they are sticking with it too also.

Bryntesson and Frøshaug are back in Fiestas doing ERX with JC Raceteknik.

I'm sure I read that they had a screen/grill for the front mount (on the Polo) that they removed at the first round.

Great to see Thomas Bryntesson back, he was great to watch in the wet at Loheac last year. JC Raceteknik on the list...

European entry list revealed:

http://www.fiaworldrallycross.com/ar...rx-entry-lists

23 Supercars
22 Super 1600
9 Touring Cars

Breakdown of all the entries can be seen here:

http://media.rallycrossrx.com/docs/2...600,%20TC).pdf

Surprised by the number of Touring Car entries, I thought that class would struggle this year.
