Sadly enough the topdrivers (like Kenneth) are massive supporters of the jokerlap as they allways where fed up of being held up by (slightly) "slower" drivers (like Kevin) if they losed the start, which they couldn't pass easliy and also ruined there times.

For example: without a jokerlap Kevin could probably win a heat from Isachsen just by keeping him behind. with jokerlap Isachsen would probably gain a few tenths and therefore get passed Kevin without any hassle: boring!

If you have to drive 'FOR KEEPING HIM BEHIND' !! is that really the strategy of all the drivers against the Jokerlap? Ohh funny, ... no thats just BORING !! Driving a train and looking in your mirrors to close all the possible gabs? Yes thats real fun to watch !

Is thats rallycross like it should be??

That's the whole point, it means that they've got to race then. In other words they've got to try and overtake and give us a race rather than sit behind and then pass in the Joker Lap. The whole idea of racing is you pass the guy in front, but the guy in front is'nt going to just let you past you've got to work for it and give everybody some entertainment! If drivers don't want to do this then I'd suggest they are in the wrong form of motorsport. If they are more interested in setting times then they should go rallying or hill climbing.

Are you sure ,
that is the point of racing ,try to get past ,the bloke in front is always slower than the one behind if he is in his boot ,he has got to protect the line ,
joker sucks ,spend the money on wider entry and exits of corners ,
take it back to 1995 tracks and car spec ,FIA keep messing with motorsport to make it safe ,its to safe there is no places where the brave boys can shine
eg brands hatch on the knife edge on the outside ,chessons on the outside ,croft first corner on the out side all but gone now
FIA if you read this you can not re-invent the wheel
we need ex drivers to be on board or in fia to give there thoughts
as the lot there need looking at ,as all they do is put the cotton wool out

I was thinking the same thing recently at Lydden ERC round the cars all except the Fiesta dont look Brutal enough like they used to pre 95 wide and low massive wings and spoilers this is what made the cars all the more spectacular! Cars now days are to plain, ok they like them to look like normal cars on the road so as to not confuse the thick public I mean how crap does the C4 look needs beefing up!
God I hope this thread gets a mention to the powers that be might make them sit up and think
As soon as someone finds a contact for the Governing body maybe we can bombard them with our thoughts lol!

Basicly you mean something like this (no restrictors in engine and limited rules, except maybe the weight):

Nope, from zero to 45mm on January 1 1997, due to the fatal 1996 FIA Internations-Cup accident at Essay in France.
