Yes could have been more ERC... Best would be a full on action pic of Liam I think (altough this could have been to short before race to make the poster).

Again though, nice to see some different machinery.
Yes, but the driver and this Golf was the French Champion not long ago... And for the MK4, well that is just a shell and in Rallycross that hardly makes a difference. The shell that is, not the driveline and what is under the bonnet, etc, etc. iow: if Jernberg would be asked to switch to Seat, VW or Audi he could make it with same tech as the Skoda, even it would be an oldskool model...

The best proof of this are the good results of two different Xsara's, one of Jeanny in the last round and Smerud last year in Sweden...

Yes, but who cares about that? He already won that before! I hope he is not turning out like Volland: driving in a car too good for the championship for too long. The only need for a car this good is to beat Kuypers, but if it was my call I would choose selected rounds in the ERC over the Belgian and Dutch championships any time... But ofcourse it's his call and money! At least with the Golf he came to the French round of the ERC, not so far away from his home (and one of the best rounds).

I tought the MDK car is old jernberg/norkus and completly rebuild en update. Norkus has switch to the old jernberg/shaymiev focus.after a sabbatical year.
Yes, I have seen the new Skoda, looks good to be honest (but can it really be better than the Gunnarson / Trollspeed tech of his old one?)

Really, really too bad to miss Holte (altough I think the C30 is an ugly car), but now 2 Volvo's down on last year...

Thanks for clearing up the MDK story!

Is this question about the Pug 306? If so, by using the Group A homologation numbers A5510 or A5576 the 306 is eligible for the ERC till December 31 2010, – if it follows the FIA technical rules for D1 cars.

It really would be good to see Ollie back in a proper car, also would be good to see Bellerby having ago, I know the Puma isnt the most competitive car but he would sure get the most out of it.
With no BTCC round that week wouldnt it be great if a car could be found for Andrew Jordan, maybe a Paillier Peugeot,I know last year he was keen to have a go.

I wasn't specificallly thinking of the 306, but I remember reading a conversation about the rules on here a little while ago and wondered which cars from the British Championship were a definate no-go.

Ta for the answers!

Andy Jordan could use Grant's focus, as Andy Grant hasn't entered himself yet! And def agree that would be great to see Oliie out in something and Bellerby in the Puma again. the more the merrier and the way that the ERC is run, the slower cars run against similarly paced cars, so it's still great racing for the fans and must be better for the drivers to be competing in such heats.

That Puma ain't that slow particularly in Bellerby's hands, granted it's not on the same pace as the top ERC boys but it's a quick car. It would be great to see Jordan back, not sure what he'll drive though. One of Pallier's Pugs would be the most likely option I would have thought or even one of the Tracey cars. I would expect Grant to be entering himself in the Focus.

The point is that Jochen himself and his sponsors prefer to get both titles. With the Golf he had no chances at it. And it's always a money issue.
