Where to find a race suit around the Birmingham area?

Hi ,1st post. I have had a search through the forums, but couldn't find the info I needed, sorry if this is a regular (and annoying question ).. Due to a change in our rules, I need a new race suit, which isn't a problem, but reading Sparco's strange sizing, it seems I have to be 5'2 to get a suit that fits me around the waist (34") or to get one to fit my height (6'2) you have to have a 40" waist . Anyway, I'm not willing to fork out this amount of money without trying one on, does anyone have any suggestions of places that might hold sparco stock in or around the Birmingham area, so I can go and try one on?

Thanks

Phil

Just turn up at any race meeting and ask to try them until you find one that fits. Worked for me!

Demon Tweeks 1hr's drive away if that .

We sell them by ignoring the stupid italian size chart and add 12 to your chest size (inchs) they are usually not far away unless really tall and skinny.

call me 01978663020 and i'll explaine it to you.

There's an echo in here.

However a race suit in the "Birmingham area" would need an awful lot of nomex wouldn't it?

What about the shop at Donington Park - they used to stock them.

that would have been handy aswell, as I'm at Donington tomorrow, but apparently they moved to Burton on Trent 6 months ago

Grand Prix Racewear is not open Sundays - obviously really since most racing at Silverstone is on a Sunday....

I'm 5'8" with a 34" waist and I've got a Sparco... and its fine.

(I tried on the OMP... and that didn't fit me).

anyway, it came from Demon Tweeks, its a "Sparco 5".. and it was the one that fitted best when I tried them all on.

I reckon you've got to go and try them on, to find out what actually fits.

i'd go to demon thieves if gp racewear aren't open...you're more likely to get the correct one as they'll have more in stock than other places.
