TVR Tuscans

Just watched the coverage from Knockhill..

Cars looking tired now, and only 12 turned up (including circuit owner and TVR chairman)..

Perhaps time to call the series a day? not like it's had a bad innings!!

Knockhill's just a blip. There's usually a lot more out there.

Must admit the racing hasn't been so frenetic over the past couple of years. Maybe it's time for TVR to come up with a new series?

The T350C is eligible for the series this season, it's just no-one's bought one yet...

What are you on about? The Tuscan still looks better than most sportscars out there and the real reason for low grids at the moment is lack of cash.

It's just a blip although I doubt we'll see entries of 40+ cars for a while! ;-)

The TVR's will never appear in Super Coupe-the speed difference would be miles different as would be the costs. The days of "Shorty" etc are long gone. Troy Dunlop was in it in those days and was always around 10th/12th spot. Then the top boys moved on and he became a winner-about the same time as the series became a loser. Very little in the way of star drivers and racing not nearly as good. Give it another year and it will be on it's last legs. I would imagine it costs a fortune to be a front runner-that money could be spent on something more worthwhile in racing circles.

Only a couple of drivers that could have coped in the days when it was packed full of good drivers, Lee Caroline certainly looks decent enough! But I doubt it'll get a TV slot next year.

Come on TVR, do the right thing!

Caroline is certainly the man to watch-his comback from the back of the grid at Snet' to the front end in just 2 laps proves it-what will he do next year I wonder though?

TVR's are no different from any other series. They have their good years and bad years. When they started back in the late 80's grids were small for a long time . We're just in a fallow year at the moment.

And so what stunning piece of news is going to make TVR's the series to watch next year-or will the fallow year get even longer...I think I know what it will be!
