From where I was watching it was so blatant-seems to me that if you go general testing be prepared for the very worst...I know of another driver who had his car virtually written off a few weeks ago at Snetterton after a huge shove from behind on Revett Straight of all places! It may be better to join a track hire club and do it that way?

BRITCAR...the next round at Silverstone looks to have been cancelled due to the bridge work over the circuit...looks as though it MAY now be at Donington on May 25th.

I've just looked on the EERC web site and it states that the race will be run on 24th May (Saturday), 100mins duration. Sounds like a good option to me so hope to be there havimg missed out at Brands last week.

I would be very suprised if the 24 hr takes palce, Silverstone gets enough jip for putting on the BTCC night race let alone a 24hr event. I also think that it would be like watching paint dry.

Ever been to a 24 hours race? Yes it does get boring watching cars going around for 24 hrs, but if you put in a fun fair and other attractions it keeps people amused when they don't want to watch cars.
I reckon that the Britcar and British GT's will merge for this race, get the entrants in to boost the numbers. The biggest problem will be getting enough officials to run the event, you SHOULD have at least 3 shifts each working about 8 hours each. |

A good way of identifying classes would be by insisting all German cars tow a caravan, - especially white ones. Just an idea…………………………………. |

the days have gone when you ring the doc and say can you do me a medical and he answers 'have you got a phone upstairs?' and when you answer it he says...you have passed... just leave a bottle with the milk....its now £36.00 and lots of questions like do you wear glasses...yes only to see my hands...do you wear them to drive?....no.... answer... 'let the force be with you' |

Well I hope to be there on 24th, just waiting on word from the team that are going. I'm looking forward to stretching my legs on a longish track after the last few rounds - what track config are we using James?
Also, glad you have the force on your side, we are going to need it though the night at Snetterton in those 2CVs Maxx |
