If you can't sort things out I'll be on the campsite from Friday pm as well so feel free to come across and blag a ticket (Renault Scenic people carrier and large Kyham tent)

Hint - take good tent pegs, the ground is rocky on the campsite! - You shouldn't need a pass to get to the campsite, just tell them at the gate that you want marshals camping and point to the bit of grass on the left of the gate and they'll see you know what you're doing and where you're going

Al

It'll be nice to get the Belcars for a race, but to have the Belcars AND the Heritage GTs seems to suggest SRO don't care about running late here - one HGT race (only a Challenge series, not a Championship) would have still given a sufficiently packed programme. With F3, FF & VWs all with previous history of lengthy delays, I'm expecting 7pm finish both days for this one

Unfortunately all there'll be on here Sunday Night / Monday Morrning will be people complaining about another BRSCC / Donington 7pm finish, when it is yet again SRO trying to cram too much into their programme to justify the cost of the circuit hire - trouble is people won't think of that for the next BRSCC Donington meeting and just won't turn up [sorry, rant over]

Go for the full grid - all 32 cars in this mornings practice within 4.7s of Marco Asmer (a 61 second lap @ 115mph ave speed) . Could be fun.

See what the GTs come up with this afternoon...
