Weekend Rule Change for Fantasy Grid
From the Race Commissioner
After consideration of an inquiry by one of our team members, the following is a effective for this weekend only: a. Due to the fact that Roberto Moreno has been removed from Herdez Competition for one race by decision of his team, he will not be scoring points this weekend. b. Therefore we will treat this event as if Moreno were injured, and the following options will be available: 1. You may elect to substitute his replacement for him. 2. Because his replacement is a very inexperienced one-off, you may choose another driver FOR THIS RACE ONLY. You must do this before the race actually begins, or you will be given whatever his replacement scores. We will add a rule about this for next year, after we have all had time to give our opinion of how this ought to be handled. Thank you. |

Good attitude, GoFaster! And good luck!
IMO, maybe next year instead of choosing a driver, we should choose a car number. Because by this stage of the season, everybody already knows who's hot and who's not. |

Good idea, although I hope we have more consistency in cars next year! People who picked Lemarie and Papis for example, were given the chance to choose another driver or take on the latest inhabitant of the car (and they didn't). If they'd picked Car 27 instead, it would only have made MY life more difficult.
 I'm open to all suggestions by interested parties til the day the new season begins. |
