Cameraman slightly injured in practice

Did any news organization report on this? I was sitting down right before turn one of the road course during Friday practice, and Johnny Herbert touched the wall in front of me. The tire came apart, and some debris hit a cameraman stationed just behind the outside fence at the turn.

Fortunately, the only injuries to the man were a few cuts. When the corner workers escorted him out to get medical attention, they picked up pieces of the debris and one piece was a section of the Jag's rim.

The people in the crowd saw it and I was just wondering if anyone had heard about this. I've checked all over the net and can't find a thing on it.

Nope, that is the first I've heard about it.

That makes it four incidents related to this GP, with the Canadians dead in the truck, the marshal ran over outside the track and the Minardis hitting a crew member being the incidents we've heard of before this.

Didn't Johnny hit somebody in the Jag Pits too, which made him drop an air gun on the front wing and damage it?
