Masters Historic Racing - Formula Libre

I am a bit surprised that no one else has posted a link to the above plan:

http://www.racecar.com/Motorsport/Ne...eday/46489.htm

The idea was also featured in 2 Feb 2012 Autosport mag (National racing section).

What do people think? Will the idea take off? Must be a good place to run a few F3000 cars that have few other places to race. Maybe the Irish guys will come over to join in.

In the Autosport they mentioned BOSS racer Chris Woodhouse would use his F300 car, if you went to the BOSS race in Donington last year you'd recognise it.

About time, hope it gets support.

Were Castle Combe planning something similar?

Castle Combe are planning a series of such races (four, if memory serves). However, these races will be 'silenced'.
