Poorly PieLady 2

This year could again be one that we don't know what we are doing - at least at the start.

I should find out results of a further biopsy on 7th February - so keep your fingers crossed for me, please.

We will be at Oulton Training on 9th February at least - and we might even get a trip to Austin, Texas (depending on the news) for the GrandAm as I need some sun and Vitamin D (I nearly wrote that as VD) prior to any potential further operation.

So, any chief marshals reading this, please put up with our delay in volunteering.

Long time no see

Hope you are feeling better I'm hoping to get back into marshaling after undergoing major heart surgery but it'll have to be something less energetic like flags. Hope you to see you both sometime later in the year

Shelagh....didn't you have a Porsche(?) fire in the Assembly area for the Britcar practice at Sillystone a few years back?

Bryan - we did (you, me and Alan Tyson's Mum) - at which point we realised we hadn't got a single extinguisher to hand! Bob Miller, Io'ing at Brooklands came to the rescue and has always been known as "My Hero" since then!!!

Well, back from the hospital and not good news alas.

The nasty is back so the boob will be going at some point.

I will have some scans to make sure it hasn't spread anywhere and that will determine what the treatment plan is: chemo/surgery or surgery/chemo.

And having a holiday right now has been kicked into touch. B****r.

Still planning on turning up on 9th Feb, although I don't do "early starts" these days. The current, very short, hairstyle is simply down to an over-enthusiastic hairdresser!!!

Scans are booked for Wednesday & Thursday this week. I keep looking out for folks going round looking extremely stupid as they try to walk with legs, fingers, eyes, whatever crossed!!!

Thank you all for your continued good wishes and thoughts.

(And Bill just continues as his normal, fantastic self.)

Scans all completed - and no longer radioactive from the second one! (No - I didn't glow in the dark!)

Back to the consultant on Wednesday.
