Hello,
I am Crash Test, a new co-moderator of this wonderful forum with RIKB. I've been told that i have been sent here by the devil to tell you all that Super Touring is stuffed, and V8 Supercars are the way to go. Yeah well Super Touring is stuffed, V8's are fantastic, although they are doing everything right atm to annoy myself, a ford fan. Oh well, i think that the next 12 months will be very telling, yes there will be many more competitors, but probably no room for them. I think the number of people nicking off to GTP will hurt. Anyways, whats for the future? Super production? Production production? Cheapo super tourers? Meh, i don't think it really matters me as a race fan, so long as the stars are out there having a go, and putting on some sort of respectable show. Somehow i doubt that the world wide domination of super touring will not be felt with whatever replaces it, and somehow i doubt (sadly) that all of the international folk will be coming back to Bathurst in large numbers. Actually i am Bernie E..... I plan to turn this into an utterly boring forum, yet somehow it will remain outrageously popular....
No no, i still love the super tourers, and i will be camping out at Lakeside in two weekends when the show hits town, can't wait. Although i am not looking forward to getting there first thing on saturday morning when they will force me to walk through the turnstiles several thousand times...
