Guido Falaschi

Sad and dark day for Argentinian motorsport. After a harsh accident in Turismo Carretera, Guido Falaschi passed away today at the city of Balcarce. The accident was very in the mood of that of Rafael Sperafico: a relegated driver spun and crashed into the wall of tyres causing havoc, Falaschi shunts him, and later other two cars clinched Falaschi's car, one of them laterally. No human being can survive such an accident where the body absorbed all three big impacts.

I'm deeply sorrow for this tragic accident that could have been avoided.
Mostly when affected a driver that could had had a brilliant future in formula racing if Argentine motorsport business structure were different.

RIP Guido Falaschi.

Horrible times for motorsports, Falaschi was fast, young and had a bright future. My condolences to his friends and family.

RIP Guido Falaschi.

An Argentine karting kid also died a few days ago. But with Wheldon, Simoncelli and Falaschi, it was more than enough. The motorsport community must do some serious rethinking.

i agree that the motorsport community must do some serious rethinking, but its the nature of the sport. we will always get serious injuries or death.
its just the way the media cover the event or the accident.
like sometimes the world does not know event is happening untill a tragic news is to be told, e.g isle of man tt meeting

A.O.L showing a video that Guido Falaschi, Quoted as being a "rally driver killed",
without googleing his name i do not know if rallying or racing was his sport, but just goes to show sometimes BIG media companies do not research the story correctly.

Very sad and R.I.P

Lets not forget the little Argetinian boy (11) who died a couple of weeks ago in a kart accident.

R.I.P Ramiro.

Perhaps it's a sign that journalists from developed countries didn't recognize this thrid world track as a permanent circuit, due to the massive quantity of dust...

Very sad, and yet another loss in motor sport.

RIP Guido Falaschi, and indeed to the other young lads mentioned above.

NB - May I respectfully ask that posts in this forum are restricted to tributes/condolences and that (the perfectly valid) comments/discussions concerning safety issues should be conducted in other more appropriate areas of our site, thanks.

Insect should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
There have been several riders/drivers related to motorsport killed or died following injuries outside of the track recently. A young BMX 'star' fell from a balcony and died of injuries sustained; another 2 sports drivers died following a road accident ........ rarely reported in the main Press but sad for those who knew them.
