All the best to Fred for a trouble-free recovery and a good Christmas and New Year.

Thanks

Thanks for all the concern and encouragement.

I came home yesterday afternoon and feeling quite well. Will be glad to get rid of the staples though!

See you all early next year, training day should be my first outing!

We will reserve some carbon fibre flags and fire bottles for you to ensure you do not overdo things!

Take care and take it easy

Glad to hear you are on the mend Fred.

I know what you mean about the staples, I had 37 of the buggers when I bust my hip.

Take care and Happpy New Year.

Hi,

thanks again for all the encouragement and good wishes.
All staples now out after several attempts as one had twisted and they could not get the pliers under it. Thought about callling the Rescue Unit out on Boxing Day to see if they could help!!!!
I have had an infection in the chest wound, but this is clearing up quite well with antibiotics.

See you all soon,

Fred

Fred was at the BARC (Midlands) committee meeting last night and he didn't he look well. So much so that Cliff Johnson reckoned as Fred looked 10 years younger it would be worth him having the same operation!
In all seriousness though it really was good to see Fred looking so well.
