If Ford doesn't give more support the Focus will never be competative.

The SEAT Leon is again on the same pace as the Toledo. This is very very promising for the future.

Can Alfa rescue their title hopes?

Why are both GR Asia drivers so slow? When the Oreca & Seat Spain cars are so fast!?

Priaulx just needs to chip points from Dirk, no stopping the Alfa's today...except Seat maybe in race two.

I was wondering too. The result of the Turkish driver is not surprising because he's new but Coronel is very dissapointing. Especially because the factory SEATS performed very good. Coronel is some points behind Henerici in the indi championship so he needs some good race results.

After a few races Oreca is already doing a very good job. I think they will be very competative next season.

if anything works well . alfa will try and give the wins to Giovanardi . and protect him . . a +15 points from both races is on the card for Fabrizio
it wil be hard for Dirk to score many points so after Istanbul top 3 could be within 5-6 points .

They will try and protect Gio, but they'd have to let him through quick before the Seat's get him. Either way, he'll be in danger territory for race two starting about 7th/8th next to the fast starting BMW's.

Not a bad decision. It was considerably behind other all new entrants such as Chevrolet & Ford who are also just walking in with all new cars - the 407 clearly needs a bit of work.

Peugeot probably don't want to hang their washing out in public...cos although they've got very pretty undies, those hard to remove stains are an embarrassment

Just catching the Eurosport programme:

Rob Huff had a clutch problem and didn't run his Chevrolet in qualifying.

Jorg also missed a weight check, and so has had his time deleted and will start last.

A difficult day for BMW, surely the things will go in a good way tomorrow.
I am surprised, again, with new Seat Leon and of course Ortelli and Oreca, strong perfomance.

Jorg looked miserable yesterday after he heard from the stewarts. In general BMWs are suffering from the weight handicap, the track has many ups and downs that are killing them. Bad luck for Huff also, the Chevrolets looked reasonable. Warm up time now, I ll try to keep you updated.
