I meant like media photos. I've tried TGR's site, but it's a pain to register for.

So, there's a seriously modified aero for LMP1 car (TS050's nose and rear) and nobody discusses it here? What's wrong with the World?

It's hard to get excited when in 12 months time it'll get replaced by soulless bop wagons. It's kind of like the last season of TV show when they still (sort of) try something for the ratings but you know it's over

The thing is... we don't even know if those changes will work. There is term of comparison.

Toyota need to do an evo kit and do a world tour like Porsche. Get some more records for the TS050.

New front end is higher and the nose cone is thicker. Mirrors are embedded in the bodywork. Bodywork behind the front wheels is changed. Rear bodywork above the diffuser is also changed. I'll try to get side by side images unless someone else does it first.

Good luck with that, especially with high res images. TMG's site has decent res photos probably, but the really good HQ stuff you need to get from TGR's DRM site, and that's geared more for bloggers and websites.

Maybe doing an evo kit whilst racing would be nicer. Porsches evo felt worse because they left and then made a new car. "Look at what you could have won!" |

Toyota fastest again in the test. Seems it's going to take a lot more for the rivals to catch up. No quick fix is going to reign them in

Still don't get why money was spent on that Porsche record car instead of even just a single entry 919 into a few races and Le Mans. Must have been hit really hard with the budget drop.
The Toyota's did a lot of laps at the prologue, but at least the times were close on the best pace. Looking at the timing results, it doesn't seem like the privateers were going for glory runs during their fast laps. They at least ran 5 or 6 laps. Toyota's best were on longer runs too. |

Toyota harrassing SMP
https://news.yahoo.com/amphtml/toyota-lmp1-boss-hits-smp-090652379.html "SMP lost six laps on us at Le Mans, but plenty of that was down to them because their pitstops weren't quick enough. You can complain, but those laps lost as a team you will never get back through EoT or whatever in the regulations." Because their pit stops weren't quick enough... Lol... Yes that made the six lap gap... I would like to hear his excuse for demanding one lap mandated advantage back for LM 2019 after it has been absent since Silverstone of the previous year... You know if everything was supposedly in grasps for the privateers |

lol. Pit stops weren't quick enough. Probably something to do with Toyotas shorter fueling time and the ability to immediately launch without a starter motor. And being immune to the "no engine running on the jacks" regulation too.
But yeah, cool. Everyone loves a winner than gloats when the little guys leave. Always looks good. |

If they wanted them to stay, maybe they could have helped them instead of talk them down like that
