Probably just a fine and maybe he'll loose some points as well. But I think he'll probably keep the win(well, hopefully anyways).

I don't think a car that rides 1/8th of an inch lower than spec is enough to take away his win but he will get a fine and some points taken away I would think. It will be interesting if he is allowed to keep his Winston Million or if they require the driver to win the race and pass post-race inspection get the money.

To Junior - nothing! To his crew chief - a $25,000 fine. That's all. It all seems a bit farcical to me. It's hardly a deterrent - more like a revenue collecting exercise. But, then, Nascar has set the precedent on this sort of rule violation. Anywhere else a vehicle that fails the post race inspection would be disqualified, and the onus would then be on the team to justify why they shouldn't be disqualified. Another one of Nascar's endearing aspects, I suppose.

I was a bit surprised at the number of fines that they handed out this weekend. Eleven violations for a total of $55,500. A lot of people must think that it's worth the risk.

NASCAR squables over 1/8th of an inch, while many of the teams have to buy new cars to replace the ones that got wrecked due to stupid rules. Ok. Makes sense to me. No wonder the drivers are ticked off.
