I'm not PMing you because this is for the forum. However I've just read something interesting, so I shall pose it as a question. Hopefully it will stop this being the worst thread ever!
When, who and what was the first rear engined car entered in a modern world championship GP? |

i may be wrong but wasn't it the Cooper-Climax in 1958, won the 1958 Argentinian Gp driven by Stirling Moss. Altough Jack Brabham took 6th in an F2 Cooper at the 1957 Monaco Gp.

i didn't realise we were going that far back!, i only answered to the modern post war era. The question was "When, who and what was the first rear engined car entered in a modern world championship GP?"
But i still got it wrong... |

The Cooper B4? I haven't come across that model Cooper before. I don't think it was a Grand Prix car, but you may be close to the right answer.

Its increadible how much wildly inaccurate information you can find on the internet. I would like to know, or it'll bug me for ages. |

When someone gets it they can set this question.
When I read this I was intrigued, and it is a good one for avoiding google searches. |
