Le Mans winning Bentley at Oulton Park - 27/8/07
I popped over to Oulton Park today for the Gold Cup meeting, mainly to see the wonderful Group B rally cars. However at lunchtime we got a real treat 5 time Le Mans Derek Bell driving the 2003 Le Mans winning Bentley EXP Speed 8.
Just thought I would share these with you:-      It was great to see this wonderful car on track again. From what they where saying on PA the car was lapping in about 1.42 Last edited by rdjones; 27 Aug 2007 at 20:59. |

Nice photos rob, thanks for sharing.
 1:42's? Thats not particularly fast for that car, but then I doubt Derek Bell was really going for outright speed. The British GT pole time this year was a 1:41.650 by the way, just as a point for comparissan.

Much better quality than mine - you can tell you're a pro - I'll stick to marshalling (BTW the fastest time I measured was a 1:46 from an historic F2)
