Everything will only be back to normal including the future of motorsports once the pandemic is over.

The future is club racing - for sure. It lacks media attention (maybe, for better, as less advertising the better live). For example, I've found this channel on YT quite unexpectedly. Not on terms of advertising, maybe someone would like to subscribe to encourage an author to post more video. I ask - being a bit selfish - because there's a lack of normal racing (not just motorised wallets in formulae) to watch.

BARC, the BRSCC and MSVR have all run live meeting streams this year at a variety of meetings.
You might need to dig into their websites, usually via the events calendars, to find the links. One example from Monday: https://www.barc.net/event/barc-race...onington-park/ which leads to https://youtu.be/MN8Zyk889bs |

That's great that club racing came to YT with streams. With all the ACO classes went away from constructors' status completely this type of racing is an oasis for me. Would be great if media writes/talks more about Bikesports, 750, Clubmans, F-Vee. |

Hillclimbing introduced excellent coverage, largely down to the efforts of one enthusiastic and skilled individual.

https://www.750mc.co.uk/calendar.htm Its possibly the most confusing way possible () but if you scroll down below the calendar image the links you need are in the table below. They have links for the live stream (normally youTube and Facebook), you have a link to the live timing, you also have the race programme linked so you can see what is racing when. Clearly all the past streams are still there so you can catchup if you've missed any! I think its great the club(s) are doing these streams now. |

Television as we know it is on it's way out - streaming, video on demand, is what's taking over.
There are plenty of whizzkids out there that can make good quality "programmes" out of video taken by competitors and spectators alike. The issue is that the circuit owners will no doubt want their pound of flesh, and that's what could put paid to grassroots sport getting it's own "Clarkson's Farm" style following. |
