As far as I understand it Ferrucci is using Satos speedway car for this race which needed to be converted to road course spec.

NBC moved the race to a different channel. I was recording, so have missed the first 7 laps, ugh

Wow he jumped out of that car fast trying to get an extinguisher from the Marshalls. He was not playing around!

That was a lot of passing in the final few restarts by Oward! He made up 15 spots today and now takes over the championship lead.

That was one of the most enjoyable street races I've seen in a while

My recording started at lap 40, YouTube is supposed to record all Indy programming and yet missed the channel change

Race 2 Result

I can't say that was the most scintillating race but at least there weren't any red flags.

A better overall performance for Penske but still no win. Pato O'Ward goes to the top of the driver's table with a 1 point lead over Alex Palou. Dixie is sniffing around in 3rd place, 36 points behind O'Ward.

I saw the last half or so, O'Ward was pretty inspiring after that final yellow flag. That was fun to watch!

I was just about to post this story. Yes it seems that the other teams think ASMP has a setup advantage, and not strong driving.

No derailment at all and a valid question, considering his crash in Race 1 and the drive-thru and fire in Race 2.

I thought this weekend, the Grosjean of F1 was starting to creep back in. It very much looked like he over cooked it, when he crashed at Turn 9 in Race 1 and he got a drive-thru in Race 2, for spinning Jack Harvey; the incident also punctured Harvey's right-rear tyre, forcing him to pit.

It's been a few weeks since his last race because of the 500, so there is that to take into consideration and he's never raced at Belle Isle before. So I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt.

If he’s still planning to do an oval he needs to get the mistakes out of his system, so he’s ready to take one on, as we all know how much costly a mistake can be on an oval
