New layout!

I'm excited for this.

Of course, will be rooting for Volvo and Lada!

Rubio should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Usual preview from the official web-site:

https://www.fiawtcc.com/race-preview...ase-wide-open/

Not sure about this new layout, highly doubt it will produce more overtakings with TC1 cars, reminds me a bit of Beijing Goldenport.

On the other hand, it doesn't suit Citroen that much, so I'm pretty sure that it will be an ultra-close qualifying. And it seems that every manufacturer (even Chevy with Coronel) has a chance

Enjoy your time there!

Meanwhile, here is the onboard video with a lap on the new circuit

Doesn't seem to be be very tight, overtaking is possible but will be risky (still better chance than at venues like Losail)

Seems like there are too many niggly little kinks right before or after the major corners. I haven't gotten to see the first race yet, but it seems like that would foul up overtaking at Turn 12. Also, I wouldn't want to be passed at Turn 8, because I'd be worried about getting dumped into the outside wall on corner exit.

Again, without the benefit of seeing the actual race yet, it seems like Turns 1, 8, and maybe 12 are the best overtaking zones. The right-hand sweep leading into the Turn 4 hairpin appears too close to the main corner to not interfere with overtaking there. Also, the run out of Turn 4 to the T5/6 chicane looks too short to have a good chance to set up a move.

What a terrible circuit! Tilke's style 100%.

No words for Valente, I think that Thommo could have won this race and he deserved it. But I'm happy for Coronel and for ROAL Motorsport.

Championship after Race 1.

Absolutely impossible to pass another car if not at the start.

It's entirely possible if the cars weren't fragile.

Really happy to see a victory from a Chevrolet driver (the car which was written off by almost everybody). Congratulations for Coronel and ROAL.

Shame for Thompson. Valente & Catsburg - facepalm.

Also great to see Honda doing 1-2-3, really important to see this after complete Citroen wipeout during 2014-2015. Ok, it wasn't by far the best pair of races, but at least this new layout created variety, the last time a Citroen driver failed to win a race during the weekend was Beijing Goldenport in 2014.

I think the best place to overtake was before the chicane, the widest part of the circuit

Chilton DSQ for non marked tyres and all Honda's under investigation of there floor. Great to see James Thompson on the podium, might have been so much better if not for Hugo Valente.

Morocco should just build a proper racetrack, they have a whole desert, so they can make it anywhere they want and as big as they want.

There were few people in grandstands.
It wasn't easy to find the access to grandstands in front of the starting line.No indication.Nobody knew how to go there...
However,in the paddock,there was a lot of people(guests).

*Qualy(in the circle,it's me):

*Race 1:

I could move in stand to take photos.Just after the start of the race,I was able to go in another stand.

*Race 2:

The organizers opened the access to the local residents to show in the whole world the popular success of the event. There were a lot of people everywhere.I couldn't leave my seat! There were not enough places to welcome the public. It became dangerous(risk of collapse).
