Le Mans 2011 accommodation
I will be back at Le Mans next year after a great first visit in 2010, but I will be bringing my dad along this time. He is in his 70s and camping is not really an option so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for hotels/self catering etc within a reasonable distance of the track and which won't break the bank.

Maybe this .This Club was several Years on the Campsite in Neuville sur Sarthe ,and is since 2005 nearly the Airfield . |

Club Valan (or Motorsport Tours) were a personal sponsor of my website for a number of years, although that ended before the 2009 race. Before my arrangements were made with James to go with him this year, I emailed Alan and Sian Peters of Club Valan several times to see if I could book accommodation with them and never had any reply at all...... They appeared to have been hit hard by the recession (or at least thats what they told me), so I don't know how successful they were in 09 and this year. Of course that doesn't explain why my emails weren't answered.....
