not having any VR lenses, can appreciate that comment, gotta struggle along the old fashioned way. and yes, going to sRGB is the way to go for web presentation, although it seems that you have a bit of a bump in overall saturation, not too much mind you, it doesn't scream out, but just enough to give them good punch. Don't know about over there, but here, we are still constantly educating some art directors about not having PS set to the sRGB default.

the joys of colour management

A diverse bunch of historic saloons waiting to practice at Snetterton.I like this one, don't really know why, perhaps because the bright yellow of the Imp is so prominent giving the scene good depth.
Also the nostalgic value - memories of these cars in those happy days at Snetterton in the 60s as a kid.

Here's a photo of Jason Bright in his PWR Holden Commodore taken at Pukekohe on May 2nd 2004, braking hard for a corner.
Absolutely nothing is very sharp on this photo, yet I like the fluidity and colour of it all; and especially the fireball pouring out of his exhaust.
he won the round too.
Please criticise if you wish

No critisism from me Tanalised. That's fantastic! You've nicely caught the speed and power of the V8 Supercars right there. Just look at that back wheel. Is Bright heading into the hairpin or onto the back straight?

He's heading into the back straight. There's a nice gap in the catch fencing you can look down to photograph cars through. A link to my gallery of V8's etc is in the Australasian V8 category on this forum under Gallery from Pukekohe. I won't bother linking it as I'm sure you can find it.

I'm sure i've seen that F40 before, may have been on the infield at Snetterton a while back. He's one of my favourites from a ETCC round held at Donington last year. It's from the entry in to Melbourne, and i think it gives a good idea of how close the racing was that weekend.

Alfa / Seat getting familar

Here is one I took at the Oulton Park BTCC round. I class this as a good one because I took the shot perfectly so the MG was under the MG sign which I think is a nice touch. I've posted a smaller pic of it but I've uploaded a bigger version here if anyone is interested.

Yes, I was just standing on the inside of druids when I took the shot. I started off in the middle of druids and lodge and worked my way down until I ended up near the apex of druids and thats when I saw the MG sign and thought it would make a nice shot.
