Until last May Qatar had only ever hosted bike racing. Grand Prix Masters was the first car race to ever be held there. Get in touch with the circuit at Losail and ask them for help, I am sure they will be more than happy to have your friend on board. When I was there back in May I found them extremely friendly.

There seems to be a lot now happening in the region.....I will research Losail (in the middle of nowhere ).....thanks Stephen

It's not far from Doha, which is easy to get to via Emirates or Air Qatar. Car hire ought not to be a problem.
