The overalls have been made by a company other than AWS so who knows what sizing they used? We all gave our measurements assuming they would be AWS overalls.

I was assuming fromn the start that they'd be like the Goodwood 'One-size, fits no-one' deal. No point making them to specific sizes if they want to use them again next year. Fortunately I've found a big enough crowbar to 'persuade' my probans to fit in the suitcase.

I still have a sense of humour - was merely pointing out that for a conservative society, who has provided people with this opportunity probably doesn't deserve this treatment on a public forum.

There was mention of the UK marshals in Abu Dhabi in yesterday's Times. Congratulations all, you are national news.

We got a mention on Heart FM yesterday morning and I have primed Martin Brundle about the trip so hopefully he will mention us as well on air.

I'm getting to that stage now where I've checked my passport about 15 times, and am convinced that I've forgotten to pack something vital! Can't wait to get out there!

Having taken the opportunity to read the Times article, look at the track plan and watch the video of the two seat ride around the circuit, I wish all of the UK contingent the best of luck - especially those on the posts leading to, on and just after turn 8 - the length of that straight... the fact that it's an over-90 degree turn... and Kobayashi.

Should we take bets on which corner will be "busiest"?

Have fun! I'll watch the recording with pride after I get back from Silverstone!

Allocated my post yesterday at the circuit.

Post 1/startline, should be a great view of the start and grid, but propably not much to do after that.

Great to see so many friendly faces from Oulton & the UK.

Get to see a tour of the circuit today it looks amazing.

I think today is probably the day to lay this thread to rest so I'm going to close it.

I'll start a replacement thread for discussion about the new circuit and the experiences of those who are out there.

Give me a shout if anyone has any issues about it being shut.

The new thread is here http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...63#post2572363
