You say that, but then you haven't seen how they act when they are at home.

Good to hear that water supplies were appropriately managed, not something that should be extraordinary but in this case worth mentioning. Well done!

Fully agree with you on that. They are next to useless to me as I prefer the food I cook for myself in the caravan! One of the negative factors that might result in me not volunteering next year.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but I think the meal voucher is a good idea. Two of us head up the campsite to collect radios each day and a single voucher gets us both a breakfast roll and a cuppa.

Saves time, saves washing up. Works for me.

Truth be told, I've had nothing to moan about apart from finding about 25 gallons of water in one corner of my tent on Sunday afternoon (got in during the Friday night lightshow), and I can't blame the organisers for that!

You could exchange cash for that if they gave out cash, but people who dont want to spend it could take the cash home with them to spend as they like.

You didn't need to collect your own, there seemed to be plenty already in bottles

I gave my vouchers to my wife and kids and I made sandwiches. I didn't realise until Sunday morning that they could be used at the burger van on our campsite! I thought I'd read they they didn't accept them.
So, in some respect I guess they're useful - saved the missus £30 on food age and the need to carry butties around.
It certainly won't put me off volunteering for next year

I see where the BBC have praised the marshals for all their efforts in their F1 stars of the season.
