Arguably the best V8Supercar viewing venue in the country, in those comfortable dry grandstands, able to see the whole track...

Now is the time the series gets serious...

The codriver grand prix is on for the last remaining seats of 2024...

Went past there on the train this morn - a couple of event trucks there already, getting signage and the like sorted. It may be old & it may be tired but Sandown puts on a good race almost every time.

No compulsory pit stops for Sandown and it appears, Bathurst.

Big change from the CPS approach of the last 20 odd years - could make for quite some variation in race day approach.

Just wondering if Bathurst this year could see the largest amount of mechanical DNFs the race has seen in recent history? We will have to see how Sandown goes. I predict some hard luck, or broken heart stories to coming late in the day. Some new material for the highlights reel.
Maybe some DNFs predictions are in order.
