Walshy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
North West Curry Night (Round 2)

Maybe a little short notice. Maybe not.

A couple of us were talking and thought it might be a good idea to do another Curry Night.

Next Thursday (11th August)

Place: The Nawaab, Stockport Road, Levenshulme (same place as last time)
Turn up. Pay £10. Eat all you can.

Time: Eat at 9:00pm

Meet: The pub across the road. Sorry, but I can't remember it's name (same as last time though)

I know it's only a week away, but with no racing the weekend after, it would be a good opportunity for a mid-season meet for food, drink and the usual racing banter.

All welcome and if you know anyone who doesn't go on this site, mention it to them. Obviously it's just a turn up and eat, but if you can let me know for a rough idea of numbers.

See you there.

best trick in the book is to order the hottest fahl, and when it comes laugh and say "I ordered a fahl not a korma" and see what they bring back.....you'll soon learn what a hot curry is

Guys, a favour please. If you wish to make social arrangements, could you post it in Trackside?

Many thanks,

Stephen.

Stephen,
I have now supplied Walshy with Mobile numbers so he can text people and have already emailed those on T'Internet with the Curry Night info.
I assume he put it here to reach the FF people - who I doubt visit Trackside [I know I don't anyway]
As the meal is less than a week away, can it stay here for now please?

As a matter of interest, if people wanted to comment on what a wonderful / awful / average night it was, where should this be posted?
and there will be.

Sorry Steve.

I'm a burger for not bringing my scissors to cut through the red tape.

As Diz said, it was aimed at the Formula Ford clan who mainly look at this Forum.

In future, I will post an entry asking them to divert their gaze in the way of the said Forum and I will detail the requirements there forthwith.

Cheers

For hot, try Hunters Cafe in Manchester in the "Northern Quarter". Mr Jim Mitchell and myself do oft frequent the establishment for fine Cuisine.

The Sheek Kebabs on Nann are a particular favourite, but it's the sauce they use.

WOW!

No need for Colonic Irrigation after one of those.

All for the bargain basement sum of £2.80.

I dare say even you would run to that Diz.......

But you would have to visit Manchester.

Walshy, Diz,

As this one started here it would seem sensible to continue this thread after said curry night. My comment was really directed to future events.

Ian,

Voice is all over the place as I have just come out of hospital having had a growth removed from my vocal chords. Some would say thats a blessing!
