Well...I was just watching the news and they interviewed this London cab driver and he said that he spended 100 pounds every week on gas.....that's quite a lot of money. So just out of curiosity....how much does gas cost where you live? How often do you stop at the station and how much do you spend on each "refil"?

Over here the galon (3.9 liters) of Super costs about 2 dollars, regular 1.50 dollars and diesel about 1.30. I usually refill every 2 and a half weeks and spend about 17 dollars.

What amazes me is that gas is supposed to be pretty expensive here because it haves heavy taxation as well (!!!!)

Here unleaded costs about A$0.83-A$0.86. Leaded, or whatever it is these days is about 0.03 more expensive. Now this is in Brisbane, down in Sydney (1000KM away) unleaded costs about $1...what a rip off!!!

My car requires 93 Octane; I fill up about once a week, every 360-410 miles for $22.50 US. Premium runs about $1.759/ gallon here in the Northeast.

Here in Melbourne, for Leaded petrol, its roughly $1.00 a litre. My car takes about 50 liters, and I fill up about once a fortnight.

Its bad....but obviously not as bad as elsewhere.

Gloucestershire, England:

Diesel for my car is 82p / litre.
Unleaded is about 83, and Lead-Replacement Petrol is about 87p / litre. I think the Super-Unleaded is about 90ish.

There is one local garage that is still selling the 'real' four-star juice, at £1.04 . Glad I don't need any of that.
There's also one place selling the LPG gas. It's about 42p a litre I think.

Range from $0.69-$0.80/litre. For the Brits, that is 29p-39p/liter. And people here call this an absolute outrage! The only place it is cheaper is in the USA.

Jeez....that's some expensive fuel. My car does about 52 Km per gallon so that means that my daily trip is worth about U$1,40 worth of gas.

BTW....I made a mistake....The local proce for diesel is 1 dollar per gallon (25 cents per liter)
