DTM Fueling rigs
Can anyone explain why DTM uses a fuel can instead of a rig similar to F1? Beyond that it's obviously in the regulations. What is the reasoning behind it?

Cheaper and more reliable. They don't need to transfer as much fuel, so anything else will be overkill.

F1 gets much more fuel in to the cars while refueling.
DTM on the other hand is more using the pitstop as something for the spectators other than the actual need to put in more fuel for the actual race distance. |

To be honest, it does look quite impressive when a mechanic brings that large tank full of fuel en slams it in the entrance of the fueltank.
