Tweed should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hope he can find something else, what else is to be gained for another year in BF3?
Is this a knock-on effect from P1 dropping out of GP2?

I'm still not convinced that Adam will be back again with P1 next year, although it is definite that they will be doing F3, not GP2.

Any driver who wants to learn about F3 would do very well to go with Roly Vincini, because that's his speciality.

Carroll has everything to lose and nothing to gain by doing BF3 next year. He'll be expected to win, so if he does it will be no great achievemnt for him. And if for some reason he doesn't win i suspect it will have very negative affect on his career. He needs to at least do Euroseries if not GP2 in my opinion

I don't think Adam's going to be in F3 again in 2005. I reckon they've just done a confusing layout on the P1 Motorsport website. Anyway, he's testing the World Series by Renault car for Epsilon Euskadi again next week.

I agree. When you take the British F3 Championship down to the final two rounds, there's very little more to prove. From there you should move somewhere, either up to something like GP2 or sideways into Touring/Sports Cars.

Dan Clarke tested an F3 with Team JLR in Spain and then at Monza with another F3 team, perhaps Hitech.

What's the story with him testing the TechSpeed BTCC car then? Just an option?

Yup. Keeping his options open. He'll probably give me a slap for saying this, but I don't think he's got the dosh to move up in single-seaters to one of the confusion of European series, so he was looking for a new challenge elsewhere. He didn't want to do "just another" year of F3, lest he be accused of being a career F3 driver - but the Lola development job would be a new challenge, and one that he's really well suited for. On the other hand, his first real breaks in racing were in tin-tops, so he's always had an enthusiasm for BTCC, and that's probably a good long-term career move given the finances. Oh, to have career choices like that...,

JLR/Clarke I believe borrowed a car from Hitech to test with in Spain. This car was then returned to Hitech (transporters met up somewhere on the continent) (with Clarke) for the test in Monza

Yesterday, a British team had been testing at Valencia with a brand new Dallara chassis. The car is one second faster than everyone else.

yes, but its fair to say that the only othre F3 cars were the spanish cars (with less torque and 301 chassis) and Nunez in a european car, so not a good competition to really compare the car.

I could be misinformed but, that is possibly Conway and Fortec ?
Apparently he has been testing 2-3 days a week for the past ten weeks ? Obviuosly a shortage of funds there...

I hear Toni Vilander is likely for Kimi's F3 team in British F3 in 2005.
