Lemans, 1988 and 1992 (YouTube)

Found these recently and wanted to share. Two series of YouTube videos from Lemans 1988, and 1992. On the right hand side of the screen you will see the other videos in the series.

Lemans 1988 (5 parts):

already watched a few parts of the 1992 LM, the 3.5litre cars were IMHO the best race cars ever, gorgeous V8, V10 and V12 noise, ballistic cornering speeds and even more ballistic straight line speeds.

the cars even in the wet look a hell of a lot faster in a straigth line than todays cars, especially accelarating out of the corners.

is there any british championship that runs group C 3.5litre cars?

When did the Hunaudieres chicanes go in? I couldn't see them in the 1988 coverage but they were visible in 1992. I couldn't get over how much more forest there was in both, and how much less fence.

Cool stuff. Wish I'd been there then.
