There is a boatload of HRT/WP equipment around for sale.. Here is WP004, the LDM WP chassis from 2010/2011...

... while over at V8Sleuth Here, HRT/WP have WP007, WP009, WP012, WP013, WP015 for sale.. at some very full prices!

Mr Emery has his ex-Tasman TMS001 chassis for sale too... again at a fairly full price..

Those that off-loaded cars before the end of the season were the smart ones.

It's going to take a long while to shift a lot of that Walkinshaw equipment given the sub-par results they've had with those chassis in the recent past.

With the main series being shown more prominently on the digital channels this year and with the added interest being created by stoner's arrival and all of last years cars - channel 7 can we please see an extended coverage including the develoent series?

Does anyone know if kiwi Daniel Jilesen has a drive in the series this year?

I am a fan of him as i did some hotlaps with him in the ex Jason Richards car that Greg Murphy owns and plays with at Hampton Downs.

Daniel blew me away with his driving talent, hence why i am a fan

What the hotlaps showed me was just how brutal you have to drive the car, and being a left foot braker myself, i was keen to see his techniques.

The car itself still had the H-pattern gearbox in it too, so for him to LFB was crazy to watch (although staring at the footwell when going into a corner is not advisable for those who get car sick!)

Also what impressed me was just how much lateral grip these cars had. I have driven many fast cars in my time, so the speed and acceleration was nothing to make you go 'wow thats fast', but the brutal gear change and that wonderful 'bite' that you got from the brakes was enough to make your eyeballs hurt

Sorry for the tangent, but i had to share my experience with like-minded people, so i'm sure you don't mind

But anyway some info of his inclusion/exclusion from the Development series would be much appreciated.

It's either a poorly managed missed opportunity, or a strategy to create interest to establish commercial partners.

It seems a bit like Scott Pye's odd announcement in Adelaide recently.

Oh well found out today that Jilesen has not managed to secure a drive yet through lack of sponsor.

But he's scored a sweet job doing driver training for Holden Australia and got to fang around in Brand new Astons yesterday for some ad filming. Lucky for some eh!

Egglestone to enter two-car Dunlop Series Team.

After a spell in the Australian GT class, Eggleston will move back to the V8 development series after purchasing one of Tekno Autosport’s ex-Triple Eight Commodore VEs.

The expanded team will see Eggleston Motorsport form a new partnership with Rachael Wagg and her expanding ‘Marque Management’ business.
