peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
The Holden Racing Team has no more excuses

However, their buying spree of some of the sport's most talented people also brings an unavoidable fact.

The Holden Racing Team has no more excuses.

No more can their cars qualify outside the top half of the field. No longer can a weekend pass without the team taking home some silverware.

There can be no waiting for upgrades that 'may' move them up the grid.

There can also me no more questions about the intent of team owner Ryan Walkinshaw, who took over the reins after the passing of his late, great father Tom.
and we havent mentioned it in this thread HRT brought famed sportscar and F1 engineer Tony Dowe away from the Kelly brothers and Nissan

I could read the link ok.

Just FYI (slightly off topic, so apologies in advance) for any paywalled articles there are two methods to get around them:
a) Get the exact heading and put it into Google search. Clicking a link on the article from Google search results will often allow you to read it.
b) For paywalls that have X number of articles you can read for free (like SMH/The Age), if you've used up your allocation, open a new Private Browser/Incognito Window and paste the link into that - I find that works.

Anyway, as you were.

You mean he cant sit at home with his laptop, with an employee list from WP, to develop a schematic as to how he wants the team structure laid out to maximise on and off track performance?

I have wondered why Mr Dane showed him the door so early. Maybe having him wash the transporter do the teams laundry, take out the garbage, clean the bathroom etc would have been an option until the end of the season.

While I am sure he keeps himself busy washing the car walking the dog and enjoying inane conversations with neighbour there must be plenty of time to work on other projects you would think.
