Where to buy motorsports "sew on fabric badges"??
Does anyone know where I can buy some of the fabric patches you sew onto clothing.
I went to the Autosport show 2 years ago (2002) and there was a stall there that had loads and loads of motorsports patches, Alfa-Romeo, Ferrari, BMW (M) badges etc etc. Does anyone know where I can go for these? Many thanks. |

I think one of the shops at Brands sells them. But there is normally a stall at most major meeting selling them.

There's a dealer that goes to many sportscar races in the States. I'm looking for his web site. I'll post once I find it. He has a lot of wide variety of patches, but they are not listed on his website.
I'll be returning to the states on June 12th and coming back to York on June 22nd. I can ferry some over if you like (and find). I started a thread over at the ALMS board with this same question, you may need to register to view, though. http://www.americanlemans.com/fanfre...p?TOPIC_ID=665 |

Monster are you looking for anything in particular? You could always try ebay...
He was something I was getting ready to use on my website (if I ever get round to updating it). So I might as well post it here. The blue background ones I use, the Jag one is new. I don't use the Senna one, I must admit I'd prefer it not ot have the 'driven to perfection' on it. The simple S says it all IMHO. Last edited by Adam43; 4 Jun 2004 at 18:17. |

Yes those are them Adam!
I saw an excellent one on Ebay for McLaren International. I want to do a DIY shirt with loads of patches on, but some people online are charging £5 - £10 for a patch which I think is extortion. |

Yes, that is the going price from a specialist retailer. I picked up mine fairly cheaply (ebay). Except the Senna one, but it was in a shop near home. The Spa one was from Le Mans, oddly. I paid in Euros so could ignore the price! I quite fancy a simple Marlboro one too (trouble is I wonder whether that is acceptable to wear - isn't that sad).
Was the McLaren one you saw on ebay a new or old style McLaren badge? |

That's cool! I like it. He is also seeling a massive Marly back patch and a 70s Texeco/Marly/McLaren badge. I really like the last one.

The Monster,
Try http://www.autobrass.com He doesn't have much listed, but may have it in his stocks. I'll be going to the states next weekend and returning the 22nd. If he won't ship overseas and has what you're looking for, I can bring it over for you. Or if he'll be at F1 Indy, I'll stop by his retail outlet and pick up what you want. |

Yes it was! I was buried under twenty Schumi Teddy Bears! I think its stock varies a little, but its pretty decent. While it is mainly Ferrari and Subaru gear there is other stuff, including a little Le Mans merchandise.

A little off-topic, but I went to the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham last night and got a new patch

Apologies if this shameless plug is a problem but we sell a few at work monster. Most of them are one offs from my bosses past exploits during his days as the Jordan team manager. You can have a look at what we've got here:

Team Gulf is cool, but I particularly like the STP logo, #43 and all that.
