an interesting concept for V8's in the US ?

Have a look at this thread in the Nascar forum posted by KC.
it sounds very interesting to me and I would like to see it.

I dunno... could the Nascar factor simply make a series like Trans Ams much more popular?? If there isn't a road racing culture in NA, then I don't think whatever any organisation does will work.

Carbies? Yeah why not! Remember when Moffat and Willmington ran them in the early days? Ok, they weren't exactly reliable, but they were are cheap as chips. Also wouldn't it cut down the chances of traction control etc?

As was mentioned in the NASCAR forum it could be used to revamp the Trans-Am series. I don't really think it would have a hope of starting from scratch though.

None of the cars currently racing in NASCAR are produciton FWD machines. They are tube framed silhouette racers only.
