Back in the very old days it was telivised. But as far as a meeting goes its getting to be on a par with the old Coys festival before it got taken to the more professional level.

I always enjoy the MGCC weekend.

Snapper - you are so sweet - only just seen your reply. I might even be nice to you next time I see you now! p.s BOBs might be warmer but they don't attract those horrible little black flies though !
Saturday was brilliant racing. Sunday not quite so good but if only other clubs could get entries and racing like MGCC the future of British Club racing would be safe.

Sadly the International festival is a bit of a one-off. You may well have seen a great crowd but how many were there just to view the cars on display, picnic, take part in the Gymkhana etc. I bet the minority watch the racing.

But on the basis that the meeting is there for everybody then it doesn't matter.

The quality of racing in the MGCC has always been good and because you can identify with the cars its makes the championships popular. But I bet the next round wherever it may be, will have one man and his dog watching.
