Ruben Xaus = Jamie Whitham
Both could be brilliant on their day, but often threw it off the road.
How many WSBK races did Jamie Whitham win BTW? I know Ruben Xaus has 5 so far, 3 of them from this year. |

Maybe, but Whitham's passes on the R6 were amazing. 'Course, I remember his championship battle against MacKensie in the British Superbikes way back when. Jamie never had a top bike in WSBK - that Suzuki wasn't that good back then. Swap Xaus onto Jamie's Suzuki and stick Jamie on that Ducati and see who's better!

Jamie only won 1 wsbk race dut he had a fair share of fastest laps at the time. He's better than Xaus but as their careers go Xaus has had the better run of luck.

If Whitham hadn't been struck with cancer or smashed his pelvis he'd of been up there with foggy, slight, chilli, Russell. as one of the top WSB riders. He missed alot of seasons due to very bad luck. People often forget what he's done for motorbikes and sport in the UK I've been to track days and rideouts with him in large groups, as one of his mates runs a track day firm (or use to)how many WSB or Supersport star do you see doing that. His following in BSB was larger than Walkers and Mckenzie's put together on machinery no upto scratch he was still mightly impressive. IMO Xaus can't equal Whit!!!...... even in 10 years
