#10 on RPM today went thru 25 cars for the SCA1000... and excluded the WAU wildcard. Poor preparation or do they know something we don’t?

#17 has to be the favourite for Bathurst, but being Bathurst nothing is a sure thing.

Scotty wants to win, but so does every other driver.

I'm surprised there was no '87 throwback livery, given they used a significant amount of '87 race footage to hype up the livery launch.

All they needed was the blue strip on the bottom sweeping up into the rear? Seems like a real missed opportunity from what I can, see.

WAU are Mobil 1, not Mobil Fuels. Also, have a look at the last few years results for WAU compared to BJR at the mountain.

MOBIL SCMOBIL.
He stated he thought the BJR Mobil car would outperform the WAU Mobil cars THIS year. He was not referencing the previous years.
Mobil oil or 7/11 Mobil fuel is irrelevant. They are all Mobil cars.
No need to infer his opinion is based on ignorance.

Winning to the rescue

WAU picked up winning, Winning Appliances, https://www.winningappliances.com.au...us#our-history

Great name for a race sponsor - trust WAU do them proud.

Didnt believe the Mobil sponsorship was anything more than show.

This has managed to displace Mobil's presence significantly:

Wonder whether Mr Andretti and Mr Brown used the vast international resources they were previously referring to, to lock this deal in

That would have to be something of a first for WAU/HRT, so well done for the 2 race duration it's been organised for.

Poor old Mobil / Mobil 1 in the meantime...

Can imagine how overjoyed, as a "naming rights sponsor" - with a 'proud' 20+ year history etc etc; they'd be to see their logo at the lower bottom of the rear bumper.
