The SRWC shouldn't get the newest machinery.
I mean with the Panoz and the Caddilacs showing that the Ferrari's and the R&S cars are still great cars we don't need the works teams. The works teams should focus on the ALMS and Le Mans and let the SRWC retain it's semi-professional excitement. I would like it if some "new" second hand cars would enter the series. The Bscher BMW has set the example for teams like Pescarolo and Conrad. But saying this there should also be a number of small factory cars like Ascari, Harrier, GMS and maybe even the crawford car. In the Lmp series they should get the newer cars, like the Reynards, Lola's, LM3000's such but the privateers can never be shoved away because of the budget limiting rules in SRII. and Finaly, can anyone tell me what supportraces will support the SRWC at Germany? |
