GT-2, the real one
I just whacked off a threat to DSC about racing fuels, as I did it I was watching the GT-2 part of the ARRC at Mid-Ohio.
THere was a thread about "support" racing for ALMS, the SCCA GT-2 is perfect. I am watching an old Sunbeam Tiger hound a semi-factory Nissan 350Z for second place, it doesn't get any better. There is more variety here than I have see in a long time.(Some are tubeys and some are not) Pup up $80,000 purse for an 80 mile race, and turn them loose. I wonder how many would show up? Bob

Indeed a good race. It is my understanding that AGT will include these cars next year in their series. Should be interesting.
Why would you whack off a threat to DSC?

How healthy is GT2, Bob? I remember last year when there was consideration for opening up Trans Am because it was dying (and it still is), but some people on other forums said that GT2, other than at the runoffs, isn't heavily populated.
I agree, though, that race was tops. |
