Mark F1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
10/10ths Fantasy F1

I know Fantasy F1 is under the goodies menu, but it still has all of last years competition details on it. Im just wondering when the 2002 Fantasy F1 competition gets going cause I will definately join if there is one this year. I only joined this site in October so it will be my first Fantasy F1 season on 10/10ths !!

Thanks in advance for any details

Are you sure ? They might ask where you live should you win a prize...

In all seriousness, I am awaiting a reply email from the guy who runs the game so you know as much as I do at this time! Will let you all know as soon as I know...

If it was under the user name, I wouldn't mind. Under the posts looks stupid.

Maybe you could do me a favour and give the man a nudge for me... remind him about the email I sent the other day! We also need to change the style of the page to match this... if he gets in touch I can give him the details

Ta.

The FantasyF1 league is live for all users of the free service. This includes TenTenths, although, I believe Craig wishes to change the design.

Craig - drop me a note when you get chance.

The competition for the new MINI will also launch soon. For this prize the results will only be counted from the 3rd race (Brazil) until the end of the season, so there is extra time to enter.

Regards,

Bill

My team, SNAFU Racing Team, won last year, along with four others in a field of well over 2000 entries. When do I get my Mini? Or at least one/fifth of a Mini?

No, it isn't!

I just had a look, and it is still closed to everybody outside the UK.

Apologies for that, but that is a limitation placed on it be the prize sponsors. Since no cash alternative is offered, it is not possible to arrange delivery of a car overseas.

Sorry.

Sorry.

I didn't realize that competitions with prizes without cash alternatives are legal in some countries.
This might also explains (part of) Neil C's problem ...

Anyway, I do like the way your Fantasy F1 competitions work.
Of course there are some minor issues with which I don't agree, but I think it impossible to have a set of rules comes without any flaws.

Well done, Bill!

Thank you for the praise.
I realise we cannot please all the people all of the time, but would certainly welcome details of any ideas you think would improve the game, and the fun had by all.

All the best,

Bill.

One minor issue

Hello Bill,

I like the view the "View the league" part, because it gives me some way to compare my results with the results of other forum-members.

To compare results, I can use the "League Table Standings" to find all teams (in pages of 75 teams). To find the owner of one of the teams, I have to click on that team.

To view the teams, I can use the "League Entry List" to find all information about 75 teams. In this list I can see the owner (or player) of the team.

---

Sometimes I would like to compare my result with the result of somebody else's team.
As a rule, I do know the player's name, but I don't know the team name.

So I can use the "League Entry List"; If I'm lucky, the team I'm looking for is amongst those 75 teams. After that, I can search through the various pages of the "League Table Standings" to find the information I'm looking for.

If the team I'm looking for is not amongst those 75, things are getting very complicated:
I start with the first page of the "League Table Standings". By clicking on each of the 75 teams, I can find out there owners. I go to the second page. By clicking on each of the 75 teams, I can find out there owners. I go to the third page. ... And I'll have to repeat this until I find the team I'm looking for.

---

At this moment, it takes 3 (75-team) pages to list all entries in the 10 Tenths Motorsport league, and 13 pages to list all entries in the FantasyF1.co.uk FREE League league.
All entries are listed in the "League Table Standings", and in each of the 17 "Results, race by race" parts, making a total of 18*3 = 54 (or 18*13 = 234) pages.

Would it be possible to add a "next page" feature to the "League Entry List"? I think that might be very helpful to a lot of players.

With kind regards,
Don K.
